Fly Neighborly dot net is a creation of the Eastern Region Helicopter Council, Inc. as part of our mission of communication among the public and helicopter operators.
The site is designed and maintained by volunteers using Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 and associated software on a Macintosh computer, then uploaded to our service provider. The design is kept simple and basic, without fancy flair, so that the information content can be rapidly accessed by users.
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are used for maintainability and design. We have found the site looks good and functions well in Mac OS 10.5 using the Safari 2 and 3 browsers, Firefox, and under Windows XP with IE7. The main graphic's transparency becomes a gray fill under Windows Professional 2000 and IE6, alas.
